     With his versatile musicianship, conductor and composer Artun Hoinic continued his duty as the conductor of Samsun State Opera and Ballet as of 2017-19. In this institution, he directed Rossini's Il signor Bruchino and J. Strauss II's Gypsy Baron operas, and most recently the Ankara State Opera and Ballet and Bujor Hoinic's Troy opera, of which he wrote the libretto, on the 3200-seat ATO Congresium stage. Apart from these, he attracted attention with Pugni's Notre-Damme, Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker ballets and ADOB 2018 New Year concerts.

      Continuing her activities in the symphonic field besides opera and ballet works, the artist is regularly invited as a guest conductor by the İzmir State Symphony, Bursa State Symphony, Çukurova State Symphony and Antalya State Symphony orchestras. In addition to these, Kharkov Philharmonic, Crimean Philharmonic, National Kyiv Symphony, Moscow Conservatory Symphony, St. Petersburg Academic Symphony, Banat Philharmonic, Presidential Symphony and Bilkent Symphony orchestras. Despite his young age, Artun Hoinic has a serious opera, ballet and symphony repertoire. He has shared the stage with many world-famous soloists such as Aleksander Ghindin, Sasha Rozhdestvensky, Gülsin Onay, Cihat Askin, Arman Tigranyan, Aram Badalyan, Sorin Dogariu.

     Apart from his international concerts, the artist also participated in various festivals. He was selected for the Gstaad Menuhin Music Festival held in Switzerland in the summer of 2014 and studied with the world-renowned maestro, Neeme Jarvi, at the 1st Conducting Academy. During this period, he conducted F. Schubert's 3rd symphony and D. Shostakovich's 9th symphony with the Gstaad Festival Orchestra at the concerts.

In 2015, he directed and recorded a CD of Prokofiev's Peter and Wolf at the 5th Est-Ouest Chamber Music Festival (Belgium), to which he was invited.

      The most important of Hoinic's works are; Nemrut ballet (2 Acts), 2 symphonies for chamber orchestra, cyclic suite for chamber orchestra, concerto for orchestra, Anatolian overture for orchestra, concerto for wind quintet and Atatürk Cantata. He has also produced many chamber music, solo instruments, vocal and choral works.

     The awards won by the artist, who has degrees in many national and international competitions, are chronologically; 2002 Bulgaria Sofia Young Composers Competition first place, 2004 USA Minnesota Charles B. Olson Composition Competition first place, 2006 13th Halıcı Computer Composition Competition first place, 2006 TR Ministry of Culture National Opera-Ballet Composition Competition grand prize and best libretto awards, 2017 and 2018 Kadıköy Municipality Süreyya Opera Composition Competition, honorable mention, 2017 Istanbul University State Conservatory Composition Competition first prize. Lila Music released CDs for Hoinic's Cyclic Suite and Sinfonietta, composed for chamber orchestra under the direction of Gürer Aykal.

In addition, he won the second prize in the 3rd International Stefan Turchak Conducting Competition held in Kyiv - Ukraine. Following this success, he performed a concert with the National Kyiv Symphony Orchestra in the Kyiv Philharmonic Hall and received invitations for the upcoming seasons.
